Superintendent's Update
Dear Egg Harbor Township School Community,
As we step into the month of June, it’s hard to believe how quickly this school year has flown by. This time of year is always filled with emotion—joy, pride, anticipation, and reflection—as we prepare to celebrate all that our students and staff have accomplished.
First and foremost, I want to take a moment to recognize our incredible Class of 2025. Your journey through EHT Schools has been marked by resilience, growth, and achievement. Whether you’ve been with us since kindergarten or joined along the way, you’ve made your mark on this district. We are so proud to invite families, friends, and the community to celebrate with us at Graduation on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. This milestone is a testament not only to our students’ hard work but also to the support from families, educators, and staff who’ve guided them every step of the way.
June is also Pride Month, a time to honor the rich diversity that makes our school community stronger. Egg Harbor Township Schools remain committed to fostering an environment where every student feels seen, valued, and respected for who they are. This month—and every month—we celebrate inclusion, acceptance, and love. Throughout our schools, you’ll see student-driven efforts to uplift voices and educate peers about the importance of equity and belonging.
In addition, we recognize several important observances this month:
Caribbean American Heritage Month, honoring the contributions and culture of Caribbean Americans.
Juneteenth (June 19th), commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and celebrating Black freedom, culture, and achievement.
National Safety Month, highlighting our shared responsibility in keeping our schools and community safe. Thank you to our security department that work hard everyday ensuring our school are safe.
As the year wraps up, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to our dedicated educators and staff for another year of excellence, compassion, and innovation. Your impact goes far beyond the classroom.
To our families—thank you for your ongoing partnership, trust, and engagement.
And to our students: keep dreaming big and striving forward. You continue to inspire us all!
With EHT Pride,
Dr. Kimberly Gruccio

District Mission and Goals
Mission Statement- Embrace - Engage - Educate
Our mission in the Egg Harbor Township School District is to embrace families and their
students to provide a safe, rigorous, and relevant learning experience while students are engaged and educated to become responsible for their own learning.
Student Achievement
In order to prepare students for the future that awaits them, teaching practices will incorporate new technologies and innovation to support student learning to prepare students for the future that awaits them. Professional Learning Community work will encompass the Teaching and Assessing Cycle. This data will assist in meeting individual student needs using the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) framework. We will also focus on the social and emotional needs of every student to foster successful learning experiences.
Culture, Climate and EHT Pride
S.O.A.R. (SAFETY, OWNERSHIP, ACCOUNTABILITY, RESPECT) will be used as the foundation to ensure a safe learning environment for all. SOAR provides students with self-regulation skills, life skills, and character skills that will assist them with student achievement, work ethic, good character, and a respect for diversity. We will celebrate progress through recognition and reward to reinforce student expectations for a positive school climate, culture, and #EHTPride.
Expand Stakeholder Partnerships
Continue to form positive, supportive, and sustained partnerships with community partners to complement and enhance student learning, activities, and athletics at all grade levels. The effectiveness of these partnerships will depend on the quality of collaboration, the alignment of goals, and the level of commitment from all involved parties. These stakeholders include students, parents, teachers, support staff, school administrators, the Board of Education, community organizations, businesses, and government agencies.
