Carr Talk
August 26-30
Message from Dr. Argento
I am so incredibly proud of all our Carr Cubs and Staff Members. Our unexpected emergency helped us practice and learn where to improve. This is a reminder to turn in your emergency kits and be sure your PowerSchool account is up to date with emergency contacts.
It has been a busy week on campus with many new routines and fun activities. Students are getting more comfortable each day. This month is focused on Being Respectful. Please talk with your student(s) at home what this might look like there. Here are some ways we show being respectful at school:
Follow the Golden Rule.
Be accepting of differences.
Be courteous to others.
Deal peacefully manage disagreements.
Be considerate of others’ feelings.
Thank you for all your support at home. This is going to be a great 2024-2025 school year!
A couple reminders:
I know parking is difficult, but please give yourself time to arrive and park on the street and neighboring streets NOT in a red zone and no blocking driveways. Also, if you have a TK or K student, please be sure they have a change of clothes in their backpack. THANK YOU.
All my best,
Amy Argento, Principal
