Hello Art City Parents/Guardians and Students,

December is a great month to be around our students at school. They bring a joy and fun to the days leading up to the holidays. I want to thank our PTA for all their help over the last couple of weeks. They have volunteered so much time and resources to our school staff. They have helped with the bookfair, SEP dinners, staff appreciation luncheon and donations for some activities. We love our PTA! I hope the holidays are great for all our community and we look forward to returning in January!

Hola padres/tutores y estudiantes de Art City:

Diciembre es un gran mes para estar con nuestros estudiantes en la escuela. Ellos aportan alegría y diversión a los días previos a las vacaciones. Quiero agradecer a nuestra Asociación de Padres y Maestros (PTA) por toda su ayuda durante las últimas semanas. Han ofrecido tanto tiempo y recursos a nuestro personal escolar. Han ayudado con la feria del libro, las cenas del SEP, el almuerzo de agradecimiento al personal y las donaciones para algunas actividades. ¡Amamos a nuestra Asociación de Padres y Maestros! ¡Espero que las vacaciones sean geniales para toda nuestra comunidad y esperamos volver en enero!

Below you will find a map for our drop off and pick up lanes(YELLOW). Please stay to the right side for drop off and pick up, use the left lane to exit the student drop off and pick area. Please pull as far forward as possible and have students exit your vehicle towards the school and not toward the road. We want to keep all our students safe before school and after school. We want all students to use the crosswalks.

Our character trait for this newsletter will continue with being Adaptable. Our Counseling Lessons and teacher lessons will be on being adaptable. Be able to adjust to different things, changes and ideas. Try new things willingly, adjust plans when needed, keep calm in new situations and learn from every experience.

Nuestro rasgo de carácter para este boletín es la adaptabilidad. Nuestras lecciones de asesoramiento y lecciones para maestros se centrarán en la adaptabilidad.
