Giselle Salbego
Giselle is our Sister School chair and works tirelessly to oversee activities and communication between our partnered school, Katy Junior High. At the start of October she organized a creative popcorn bar treat for Katy Junior High staff, and worked closely with the Katy Junior High Sister School chair to coordinate an equally fantastic popcorn bar for our teachers when they returned the favor.
VickyTillerson
Vicky Tillerson is our Communications chair and, as such, is responsible for preparing the weekly PTA Newsletter, as well as updating the website, facebook and other social media channels to keep the BDJH community informed of PTA events. It is a mammoth task, which she undertakes graciously, dedicating many hours each week to getting the task done. She deserves this recognition for all her tireless efforts, not only in communications, but also for the many extra hours she volunteers at so many of our PTA events.
Christy Wootan
Our Healthy Lifestyles chair, Christy has had a very busy few months. She did a fabulous job of planning the Fall Walk, Bike and Roll to school at the start of October and presented prizes to some lucky raffle prize winners. She also helped to bring awareness to our intolerance for drugs in our school, during a highly successful and imaginative Red Ribbon Week.
