Wear your Girl Scout uniform on Monday, March 10th in honor of Girl Scout Uniform Day!

We so enjoyed celebrating reading last week, but we also LOVE celebrating math! Pi Day lands on Friday, March 14th, but we are going to celebrate all week long. Please see the schedule below for some ideas to do at home and some we'll do at school.

Monday - Whether it's seconds, minutes, or miles, engage in activities that center 3.14.

Tuesday - Cooking at home is a wonderful family activity that supports working together, following directions, and in this case, being creative with circular food! Share your pictures!

Wednesday - 3rd - 5th graders have the option of joining us at lunch for a pi recitation contest. How many digits can your student memorize?

Thursday - Hula hoop contest at lunch for anyone who wants to join (these contests traditionally take multiple days).

Friday - Spirit Day - Wear a math themed t-shirt or sweatshirt

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU SIGN UP?

ONCE REGISTERED, YOUR CHILD WILL BE SCHEDULED FOR A “TALENT SHOWCASE” DAY ON EITHER MARCH 19TH OR 21ST BETWEEN 2:00–4:00 PM IN THE AUDITORIUM

THEY’LL SHOWCASE THEIR ACT FOR OUR MENTORS WHO WILL GUIDE AND SUPPORT TO MAKE YOUR CHILD’S BIG MOMENT SPECIAL.

We are excited to announce the proposed slate for next year's PTA Board! Voting will take place at the March Association Meeting, and we encourage all eligible members to participate.

Who Can Vote? Only PTA members who have been members for at least 30 days prior to the election are eligible to vote. Your voice matters, and your vote helps shape the future of our PTA!

March is Women’s History and Civic Awareness Month, a time to celebrate the trailblazing women who have shaped history, science, activism, and beyond!

Additionally, this month marks the beginning of Ramadan, a sacred month observed by Muslims worldwide. Ramadan is a time of reflection, fasting from dawn to sunset, and community, emphasizing gratitude, compassion, and spiritual growth.

Each week, the Wave Committee will spotlight picture books and chapter books. This week, we honor Women’s History, along with a special book recommendation for Ramadan.
