Pastor Chris will be out of the office from May 23 to June 6. Tristram McCormick, Chaplain at the Booneville Correctional Center, will be preaching in his place on Sunday, May 25 and Sunday June 1.

There will be no adult Bible Study on Wednesday, May 28 or Wednesday, June 4. However, starting Wednesday, June 11 and throughout the summer, Pastor Chris will do a Wednesday night on-line devotion at 6:30 pm called, "Wednesday Words with Pastor Chris."

The Children's Choir will be singing on Sunday, May 25th, during worship service. They will sing "I'm So Blessed" by Cain.

Online registration for True North Vacation Bible School is open for FINISHED kindergarten-5th graders. Go to www.parkade.church to register.

The new Blessing Box is in place and is working out wonderfully. We are collecting items once again for those in need, below are the items needed for the box.

Needed items:
Canned pasta sauce ( no glass, please)
Rice and rice meal packets
Snack items- nuts, chips, cookies, crackers, granola bars, etc.
Individual pasta and rice meals
Bottled water and flavor packets
Canned fruit and individual serving fruit cups
Instant potatoes

Please be in prayer for the Straw family and the Brinegar family as they prepare to travel with a team from the Future Leadership Foundation to serve in a Church Family Camp in Poland. This camp is for the Baptist Christian Church in Chojnice, Poland where Pastor Henryk Skrzypkowski is pastor. Pastor Henryk has been with us at Parkade on several occasions and he even preached for us a couple of years ago. The camp itself is an intergenerational camp in which the families of the church camp together and invite unchurched families to camp with them. There will be opportunities to fulfill the Great Commission through evangelism and discipleship. Also, going on the trip will be a team from Sports Crusaders, a Christian Ministry that partners with the Missouri Baptist Convention.

Once again this year we have been invited to go Davao City, Philippines in January of next year to outreach work and discipleship training. We have even been invited to speak in the public schools. With the new church budget we passed in May, we are sponsoring the church plant Grace Baptist planted a couple of years ago. In fact, the church plant has even asked to use our name. You can find them on Facebook as Parkade Baptist Church Philippine. We plan to take a team there in January. The tentative dates for the trip are January 21-28, 2026. If you are interested in going or helping with this mission through prayer support our other means, there will be an ordination meeting on Sunday, June 29 at 2 pm in the Fellowship Hall. The deadline to sign up to go on the mission trip is July 15.
