LIFETOUCH PICTURES ON FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Sturgis Brown High School will have Lifetouch pictures on the first day of school, August 26.

All students need to adhere to the SBHS Handbook dress code for school pictures.

Students are expected to wear shirts that have fabric in the front, back, sides and under the arms which does not inappropriately expose undergarments or the body. (Examples include but are not limited to: spaghetti strap tops, tube tops, halter tops, midriff tops, backless tops and muscle t-shirts.
Students are expected to wear pants, dresses, skirts, shorts, sweatpants, or leggings that do not inappropriately expose undergarments or the body.
Students may not wear clothing with writing, slogans, pictures or symbols that depict alcohol, tobacco, or drugs (or their manufacturers), obscenities, vulgarity, racism, sex, sexual innuendo, violence or gang affiliation.
Students may NOT wear immodest clothing, including clothing that inappropriately exposes undergarments or the body. (Examples include but are not limited to: spaghetti strap tops; tube tops; halter tops; midriff tops; backless tops; “muscle” tops; all skirts must extend longer than students’ fingertips when arms are extended by their side).
Students may not wear slippers or pajama pants. Shoes shall be worn at all times.
Students may not wear hats, hoods, caps, bandanas or other head apparel during the school day.
Students may not wear chains that hang down or are used as belts.
Students may not wear clothing or accessories with spikes.
Students may not wear sunglasses during the school day.

Joining Scooper Activities

The Activities Departments at Stagebarn MS, Sturgis Williams MS, and Sturgis Brown HS invites students to participate in the many activities that Meade School District has to offer. Our activities are integral to the educational process and strive to develop lifelong skills. We want our students to be committed, respectful, strong, and resilient while they represent our school with the highest degree of integrity. If you want to accept the challenge of becoming a Scooper, please complete the registration process and begin the process!

Any student wishing to join an activity must first register to participate.

Things to do prior to registering.

Schedule a physical with your primary care physician or you can also receive a free physical screening at Monument Health. You must schedule an appointment at the clinic.
Print both Health History Form and Preparticipation Physical Exam Form prior to the physical. Take both with you to the physical exam. You will need to fill out the Health History Form prior to the physical exam. Both forms require a signature by the parent/guardian and student. There also needs to be a doctor's signature on the Preparticipation Physical Exam Form. It is important that you hold on to both the forms. These will need to be uploaded during registration.
Read through the following forms before you register. Your electronic signature during registration will verify that you have read and understand each of these forms.
If you are a student involved in alternative instruction - Home School Student - you must fill out the Alternative Instruction Form and have the previous semester's transcript available to upload.
All students involved in activities must read and agree to abide by the Student Activities Manual. This manual gives information about training rules, transportation rules, eligibility rules, and other general rules of participation.

Once all above items have been completed or read through, you can prepare for registration by reading through the Guidelines for Registration. Keep this open and follow along while you go to the appropriate registration site below.
