Parents,

We had another great week at Belton Elementary School!

Thank you so much for those of you who were able to attend our STEAM night this past week. We had 600 people attend! I hope you and your family had a great time. It is important to me that we give opportunities for you to be in our school!

I know that life is busy, but I would like to encourage you to take a few minutes each day to check Class Dojo and Parent Portal. Your involvement in your child's education is vital.

We were very excited to welcome Scaly Adventures to our school on Tuesday. They were able to do a program for each of our grade levels, as well as stay for STEAM night!

Our students are encouraged to dress up, and pick a vocabulary word to match their outfit. The purpose of Vocabulary Day is for students to learn new words to use during their writing!

1. Students must wear a sign that has the word and the definition.
2. School Appropriate Costumes (No gore, weapons, must meet dress code)
3. Mask can be worn for the Vocabulary Parade, but cannot be worn during the school day.

We would love for you to send in pictures of the veterans in your life! We will display them on our Honor Wall through Veterans Day! Please include their name, branch of service, and years of service.

This is just a reminder that all school fees must be paid in order for students to be allowed to attend a Field Trip. You can send cash, check, or pay on myschoolbucks.com. If you have questions about this, feel free to call the school.

You must call the office if you need to change the transportation for how your child normally gets home. Messaging the teacher on Class Dojo will not work because teachers will most likely not see your message until students are already gone.

If your child is a car rider and would like to eat breakfast at school, please be sure to get them to school as early as possible to give them plenty of time to eat. The hot breakfast line ends at 7:35am. I would suggest getting your child to school before 7:30am to ensure they are getting a hot breakfast, and are not rushed.

The tardy bell will ring at 7:45am. Students must be in their classroom by 7:45am in order to not be tardy. Parents must park and walk their child in if they are tardy.

Students will not be allowed to be dismissed from class after 2:00pm without administrator approval. Please plan doctor appointments accordingly.

Breakfast and Lunch are free for all of our students this year!
