From the Principal's Pen
April 8, 2022
Student Council Assists fourth grader Eliza Cooper with campaign to help the people of Ukraine!
Our entire JC Community will be involved in sending messages of hope. We believe that our notes are as important as the physical items we are sending. it is important to let the Ukrainian people know that there are still people who care. The students will write words of encouragement and send uplifting pictures to Poland.
The notes will go inside the boxes, as well as be taped on the outside the boxes of food. The people unloading the containers will enjoy our messages. The people opening and distributing the items will see our notes and share them. Items will be distributed to refugees in Poland. There will also be some food and medical supplies that will be taken back into Ukraine for distribution to people who remained behind.

Confidence (which we talked about today with Sports City Worldwide) starts with making a big challenge little by starting small. We challenged students to tackle something today to gain confidence and to show or tell a grown up at home what they did!
Our school has brought in $6,864 and we have 61% of our students registered! Let’s make that 100%! AMAZING! THANK YOU FAMILIES!
School-Wide Registration Challenge: If we reach 75% as a school, then the WHOLE SCHOOL gets a PJ day! We have hit 61% of our school registered!
Weekend Challenge: Any student that gets $2 per lap, or $60 flat, in NEW donations over the weekend will earn a BONUS PRIZE!
Have a great weekend!
