Lake Forest Families:
Spring Break is almost here! Friday marks the start of Spring Break, and we hope everyone enjoys a fun, relaxing, and safe time with family and friends.
Since St. Patrick’s Day falls during the break, we want to take a moment to say just how lucky we are to have such wonderful families as part of our LFE community. We are also incredibly fortunate to have amazing teachers and staff who love and care for your children every day.
Thank you for your continued support—we can’t wait to see everyone back after a restful break!
Enjoy your time off! 💙🐆
Wishing you well,
Julie Cooke

Students and teachers will not need to be online for these makeup days; teachers will provide students with assignments that can be completed within five school days upon return to school. REPOSTED: Important Attendance & Dismissal Reminders
Very Important!!
We appreciate your continued support in ensuring a smooth and safe school experience for all students. Please take note of the following reminders regarding attendance and dismissal procedures:
📌 Absence Notes: If your child is absent, please send in a written note within two days of their return. Notes should be given to your child’s teacher or emailed to our attendance clerk, Lynn Cronin, at lcronin@greenville.k12.sc.us. Please do not text absence notes to teachers.
📌 Afternoon Transportation Changes: If you need to change how your child will go home, please notify the school before 2:00 PM. Any requests received after 2:00 PM will not be accommodated unless it is an absolute emergency.
📌 Early Dismissal: If you know your child will have an early dismissal, please send in a note to let your child's teacher know in case they will be at lunch, recess, or related arts.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we work together to keep our students safe and our school running smoothly!
