Event Details:
IBSOM will be hosting the following IB workshops in Ann Arbor
at Washtenaw Intermediate School District - 1819 S. Wagner Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48106

MYP Sessions (Category 2):

- Personal and Health Education
PYP Sessions:
- Learning and Teaching for Conceptual Understanding (Category 2)
- Developing your PYP Framework: Early Years (Category 3)
Description of IB Professional Development Workshops
All workshop will be conducted in English.
Cost: $600 per participant

Additional on-your-own work to be submitted within 7 days in order to receive the IB training certificate.

Total Cost: $600 per participant

If traveling to the Ann Arbor areas, please consider the block of rooms reserved at TBD
Transportation is not provided for participants.
Parking is free at Washtenaw International School District (WISD) workshop site.

Confirmation Process:
- Participants will receive an initial confirmation of registration receipt
- Participants will receive a second confirmation when the workshop has reached the minimum enrollment to run.
IBSOM is a not for profit 501(c) organization run by volunteers without annual membership fees to IB Schools in Michigan. The cost of this workshop includes $400 per participant paid directly to the IB for workshop trainers and material. Additionally, IBSOM provides breakfast and lunch each day, snacks and beverages throughout the days, covers fees, volunteer travel and administration at the site, as well as an annual participant gift.
Important Health and Safety Updates
COVID-19 Guidelines
Guidelines for IB professional development workshop host schools:
Participants/school staff must not attend the workshops should they fall ill before the event.
Participants/school staff must respect national/state/local/venue COVID-19 guidelines during their attendance of the PD event.
Participants/school staff must remove themselves, and immediately inform the workshop leader and on-site school/district coordinator, if they fall ill during the event.
