From Ms. Holmgren: It is a joy working with Adam in English class again this year! He is a funny, intelligent, hard-working student who brightens the room with his presence!

From Mrs. Reimer: Ajay participates regularly in AP US History, he is encouraging to his classmates, and he asks important clarifying questions. I appreciate his consistent enthusiasm and engagement.

From Shelley Carmichael: Apollo was shy when I first met him 2 years ago, but over the last year he has become very respectful and now will talk to me or other staff in the lunch line. He appreciates his cheese zombies everyday.

From Mr. Biundo: Blaze works hard and comes with a great attitude to film class every day. He is enthusiastic about the films we're watching, and I love hearing his opinions on each one -- including why he likes or doesn't like the film. Thanks for your participation and engagement, Blaze!

From Mrs. Holmgren: Brooks is a great student! He is focused, hard-working, and thoughtful! I enjoy seeing each day in class because of his positivity and friendliness! He always does his best!

From Ms. Gopal: Caleb has developed insight into what works best for him in academic settings. He was not successful intially in Financial Algebra , however, he accepted the help that was offered to him and worked diligently to improve his grade. Keep up the good work!

From Mary Tsuboi: Caroline has an amazing work ethic and never gives up.

From Mr. Durazo: Connor has been doing GREAT in my PE class!! His participation, effort, sportsmanship & working well with others is GREATLY appreciated!! Keep up the EXCELLENT work!!

From Mr. Rosecrans: Donatella has worked on creating Sports Newsletters during Sports Leadership class. She has worked hard on creating awesome newsletters that showcase student-atheltes!

From Ms. Holmgren: I appreciate Gavin's strong writing skills which he is always working to improve and develop! He is a kind and hard working student who asks for and listens to constructive criticism in order to further his learning.

From Frau Nancy: Ingmar took a bit of a hiatus in his academic studies last year (at least in German), but he is back this year! He is interested, does his work on time and with quality, he is interested in class and thank me every day as he leaves. "Welcome back", Ingmar!!:)

From Mrs. Reimer: Jackson is a pleasure to have in AP US History. He is a diligent and dedicated student who has shown steady improvement all semester long. He is the type of student to use constructive feedback effectively and consistently put in the work. Way to go, Jackson!

From Frau Nancy: Joseph is a very quiet, unassuming student, who sits in the back, acquires the language with no need for accolades or extra help and steadily makes progress. He is very bright and has improved immensely this year. Mach weiter so, Joseph!

From Georgia Friend: Josh comes to class prepared and excited to sing! He is kind to everyone and is always ready to help others.

From Ms. Holmgren: Megan is kind, hard-working, and an itellectual powerhouse! I love reading her writing and hearing her ideas in class! She works beautifully with others, bringing out the best in everyone! I feel so lucky that she transferred to Northgate after moving to the area and wound up in my English class!!!

From Mrs. Reimer: Molly is an excellent student in both AP US History and Sociology. She has a wonderful, positive attitude, she participates excellently and asks important questions, and she is an exceptional classmate.

From Mrs. Holmgren: Quinn is a fun, sharp, hard-working student, and I am so lucky to have him in my class for a second year in a row! He is also a great Linkl-Leader in my classroom with patience and enthusiasm for the 9th graders we support.
