• We are excited to inform you about a wonderful new opportunity for scholars. Centennial Academy is pleased to announce that we are partnering with Georgia State University’s Honors College to offer an in-school tutoring program. This program is designed to support our students in mastering key concepts and academic standards across various subjects. The tutoring sessions will be led by skilled university tutors and provide targeted assistance to help students enhance their understanding and improve their performance in the classroom. The in-school program will be a built-in 30-minute session during the school day.

This is an E-STEAM Saturday event to hear from young professionals in the STEM and the Arts industries, engage in E-STEAM activities, and tour GA Tech.

The event is hosted by Caterpillar's Promise, an organization committed to motivating others to use their talents in STEM and the Arts for the greater good & E-STEAMing youth! To “E-STEAM” is to encourage, enlighten, excite, educate, and elevate the youth while leveraging STEM and the Arts curriculum.

The Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Mobile Clinic will be at Centennial on Tuesday, November 12 , 2024. If your scholar's immunizations ( Form 3231) and Hearing, Vision, Dental, Nutrition (Form 3300) are not up to date, please scan the QR code, visit the website or call the number listed on the flyer. Scholars will be ineligible to participate in any extracurricular activities without current immunizations and Form 3300.

Fall Book Fair November 4-8, 2024!!

We’re excited to invite you to our Scholastic Book Fair! This event is an opportunity for students of all ages to build their home libraries and further their love of reading. As always, all purchases benefit our school library. The Book Fair will end November 11.

Our Scholastic Book Fair offers a cash-free payment option called eWallet. https://www.scholastic.com/bf/centennialplaceacademy1. It’s a convenient digital account that your child can use for shopping at our Fair, and lets you set a budget for your scholars. Grandparents, friends, and others can contribute, too!

This school years marks a decade of existence for our charter. We are so proud of the impact that Centennial Academy has made throughout the years. We would like to include our community in celebrating these ten years.

We also embrace our rich roots as Centennial Place Elementary and welcome all alumni (1996-present) scholars, staff, and community stakeholders to join us in our celebration and the creation of the Centennial Academy Alumni Association.
