Principal's Message
Dear Wall High School Families,
The staff and students are off to an amazing start to the school year. I am very much looking forward to the many upcoming seasonal learning experiences and activities.
On Wednesday, October 9th, the PSAT will be administered to all freshmen, sophomores and juniors at Wall High School. While only juniors are eligible to compete for National Merit Scholarships, taking the test as a freshman or sophomore provides valuable practice for taking the SAT college entrance assessment.
All students should arrive at school on Wednesday morning and report to their designated testing room by 7:20 am. Room assignments will be communicated to students via email and through their English teachers. Additionally, testing rosters and room assignments will be available in the WHS breezeway on Wednesday morning.
To prepare for the test, students should ensure they get a good nightβs sleep, eat breakfast, and bring their fully charged school issued Chromebook, a pencil, and a scientific calculator. Please note that calculators will not be provided, as the PSAT platform includes a built-in calculator.
Upon arriving at their testing room, students will be required to power off their cell phones and deposit them in a designated collection site while they are testing.
Late students will NOT be permitted to enter the testing room.
Seniors will be arriving at school on a delayed opening schedule. Seniors and senior parents/guardians will receive an email with more details regarding the late arrival on 10/9.
Parents and students are also reminded that the first bell is at 7:20am every day, and students should be in school by 7:15am to ensure that they are not late to homeroom/1st block.
Sincerely,
-Mr. Davis

WHS Red Cross Blood Drive
The WHS Red Cross blood drive was a huge success! A big shoutout to our amazing student volunteers, staff, donors, and Mrs. Arminio for organizing the event! The Wall High School Red Cross Club organized the event with the American Red Cross. The blood drive had 77 reservation slots for our community and all 77 were filled. Students volunteered to assist the American Red Cross and some were able to donate blood as well. The Red Cross Club aims to promote service and inform the community on the benefits of donating blood. The club's participation in the blood drive makes students eligible for scholarship money from the American Red Cross.

WTPS Meal Application Information
Dear Parent/Guardian:
Children need healthy meals to learn. The Wall Township Board of Education offers healthy meals every school day at the prices listed on the WTPS website. Your children may qualify for free or reduced price meals and Summer EBT benefits.
The printable packet includes an application for free or reduced price meal benefits/ and a set of detailed instructions. For a convenient way to fill out the meal application go to https://www.payschoolscentral.com. WTPS utilizes PaySchools as an online lunch account for children to use to purchase lunch on a daily basis.
If your child received federal free or reduced price school meals during the 23-24 school year, please remember you need to complete a new application for the 24-25 school year prior to October 15, 2024.
If you choose to opt out from completing the meal application, you may fill out the linked Google Form.
If your children receive federal free or reduced price school meals, they may also be able to receive free or low-cost health insurance through Medicaid or NJ FamilyCare. Children with health insurance are more likely to get regular health care and are less likely to miss school because of sickness.
Because health insurance is so important to children's well-being, the law allows us to tell Medicaid and NJ FamilyCare that your children are eligible for free or reduced price meals, unless you tell us not to. Medicaid and NJ FamilyCare only use the information to identify children who may be eligible for their programs. Program officials may contact you to offer to enroll your children. Filling out the School Meals and Summer EBT Application does not automatically enroll your children in health insurance.
If you do not want us to share your information with Medicaid or NJ FamilyCare, you will have the option if submitting the meal application online via PaySchools or you may fill out the printable form and send in (Sending in this form will not change whether your children get free or reduced price meals).
Thank you for your cooperation.

Message Regarding Doordash, Grubhub, Uber Eats, etc.
Please be advised, WHS will not accept food deliveries from services such as DoorDash, Grubhub, Uber Eats, etc. for students in our school. While we understand the convenience these services provide, they create significant disruptions within our main office. More importantly, allowing outside food/lunch deliveries raises concerns about the safety and security of our students and staff.
Please note: Parents and guardians are still permitted to drop off lunch for students who may have forgotten their meals. However, we ask that you coordinate these drop-offs directly through our main office to ensure a smooth process.
Thank you for your understanding and support as we prioritize the well-being and security of our school community.
Mr. Davis
