It has come to the attention of our administration that an increasing number of families are utilizing the surrounding neighborhood roads by the State Road Campus to wait for and pick up students during afternoon dismissal, rather than following the school’s established carline procedures.
Please be advised that this practice is not appropriate and is causing disruption to our neighboring communities. Residents have formally expressed their concerns and have notified both the school and the Pennsylvania State Police regarding this matter.
To ensure student safety, maintain positive relationships with our neighbors, and preserve the flow of local traffic, we must insist that all families utilize the school’s designated carline for student pick-up. This process is designed to provide a safe and efficient system for dismissal while minimizing impact on the surrounding area.
We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to school protocols and helping us model respectful and responsible community behavior.
In addition, we have many families who are skipping the morning carline at State Road and pulling directly up to the main doors to drop students off in the morning. Moving forward, if the carline is still open and you try to utilize the main lot, you will be directed to exit and proceed to the carline. Students should only be dropped off at the main doors if it is after the carline has closed.
