Titans' Times

We had a fantastic time at our final home game of the season and the Volleyball Pep Rally this past Tuesday! It was wonderful to see our Titans grow in their skills and teamwork. We couldn’t be prouder of the dedication and sportsmanship displayed by our players.

Thank you for your continued support of the Titans athletics program. Your commitment means so much to us! In this issue of our newsletter, you'll find some great photos from the games and the pep rally, showcasing our talented athletes and the enthusiastic fans cheering them on.

This upcoming Tuesday our Seniors will play Zones Tournament and one final league game on Thursday before the fall break. Go Titans Go!

It can be tricky to come up with new and creative lunch ideas when you are making packed lunches every single day. Trying to balance nutrition with foods your child will look forward to eating can be tough!

Check out these tips from Alberta Health Services, including different menu ideas, tasty recipes, and realistic planning tricks when packing lunches for the day!

Another great resource for kids and food is from Registered Dietitian, Jennifer Anderson, who provides information and resources to help with picky eaters and how to have conversations around food with your children. What’s for Lunch?

The CWL will be collecting new socks, mitts, toques, and scarves for all ages. After Remembrance Day, boxes will be located at the back of the church, Super Mart, Legal School, Legal Public School, and Ecole Citadelle. We will be collecting until Dec. 15. Donations will be delivered to Gibbons Family Resources for local families with winter clothing needs. Please consider purchasing some of these items during your Christmas shopping. Thank you.

We would love to take some time beginning next week for the month of November, to recognize and pray for all our loved ones that have departed.

Please send in a picture or eulogy card or prayer to add to our "Legal Titans Book of Remembrance".

We also will be displaying all the pictures handed in so we can all take a moment to reflect on and commemorate our loved ones who have passed. Pictures will be put in picture frames and afterward will be added to our book of Remembrance.

Thank you to the Junior High Citizenship Class for organizing the Halloween Carnival, and to all JH students for running it this past Thursday. Everyone enjoyed fun events and treats in anticipation of Halloween. The Haunted House was a huge hit, and for those who missed it, we’ll offer another chance to go through on Monday at lunch or during options class in the afternoon. A big thanks to Mr. Kary for helping with the event. It was a fantastic way for our school community to come together!
