Director's Corner
Dear St. Peter’s ECDC Families,
In our Bible stories this month, we learned about trusting God with all our hearts. Ms. Katie and I shared the story of Moses, who faced a huge challenge when God asked him to free the Israelites. Even though Moses wasn’t sure how it would all work out, he trusted God’s promise: “I will be with you.” A big thank you to all our ECDC students who helped us bring this story to life with their participation!
Then, Ms. Paige, St. Peter’s UMC Assistant Director of Children’s Ministry, our guest reader, told the story of King Hezekiah, who also trusted God when he prayed for help. In both stories, we see that we don’t have to have all the answers. God sees the big picture, and our job is to trust Him, knowing that God’s got it.
No matter how big or difficult our circumstances may seem, we can take comfort in knowing that God can handle it. Whether it's a big job, a tough decision, or simply needing to talk to God, we can always say, “God’s got it!”
As we approach this season of Thanksgiving, I want to extend my warmest wishes to each of you and your loved ones. May your hearts be filled with gratitude for the blessings of family, community, and our wonderful ECDC family. Thank you for being a part of our journey, and for the joy and support you bring to our school and church.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart” – Proverbs 3:5
Blessings,
Ms. Anna

Celebrating November Milestones
Thank You to Our Substitute Teachers and Teacher Support!
As we head into December, we want to extend a big thank you to our substitute teachers and teacher support staff for their invaluable help since the start of the school year. Whether covering for illnesses and staff emergencies, assisting with arrival and dismissal, or supporting both teaching and office staff, their efforts have been essential.
Special thanks to Sondra, Jill, Sarah, Amelia, and Gie for being our dedicated substitutes, and to Diana and Annette for their all-around support. We’re also blessed to have Brittani, who joined us in October as a new teacher support! Please join us in welcoming Brittani and be sure to thank all our substitutes and support staff when you see them in the hallway or assisting a class.
To learn more about them, stay tuned for their teacher bios, which will be posted in the school hallway very soon!

Day of Thankfulness
What started as a Day of Thankfulness turned into a Week of Thankfulness! We're so grateful for the creative ways each class has celebrated this season of gratitude, from beautiful artwork to lessons on kindness and family values. Thank you to the classes for their unique Thanksgiving celebrations, and for sharing treats like the healthy Thanksgiving trail mix—it was a favorite!
A big thank you to our teachers for making this week special and for fostering an atmosphere where gratitude, kindness, and community are at the heart of everything we do.
