Welcome back! I hope everyone had a restful break and are ready to jump into 2024. The start of a new year brings with it a chance to reflect, reset, and embrace the opportunities ahead. Let’s make this year one filled with joy, and gratitude as we continue to learn and grow in Christ.

Pre-registration for the 2025-2026 school year opens soon! This is a special benefit for our current Butterfly School families, siblings, and church members.

📅 Important Dates:

Pre-enrollment packets will be sent home Tuesday, January 21st.

Forms are due back by Thursday, January 30th — no exceptions!


Pre-enrollment guarantees your child a spot before we open registration to the public on February 4th. We anticipate full classes, so don’t miss this opportunity! Families who don’t pre-enroll risk being placed on a wait-list.

Open enrollment for the general Coppell community and surrounding areas, begins Tuesday, February 4. Any open class spaces not taken by our current families will then be made available to the general community on a first come first served basis.
We can’t wait to welcome back our current toddlers, twos, and threes!

Butterfly School will close whenever Coppell ISD determines that closure is advisable due to weather conditions. If Coppell ISD announces a delayed start time Butterfly School will not open. If Coppell ISD issues an early school closure due to inclement weather conditions, Butterfly School will close immediately.

We begin a brand new year remembering God’s love for us by giving us baby Jesus at Christmas. We will see how God still loves us, even when we don’t obey. We will hear Bible stories that focus on obeying. Noah obeyed God by building a BIG boat, called an ark, and we will see what happened to Jonah when he didn’t obey! We will learn about a promise God made when we see a rainbow in the sky after it rains.

Our January Bible verse is Ephesians 6:1 “Children obey your parents.”

Looking forward to another wonderful year learning about God’s love through songs and stories. I am so glad to see all the sweet smiles I missed over the holidays. Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! As we head into winter we will be making chilly sounds on our chime blocks, moving to smooth and bouncy sounds, and fluttering like snowflakes! I’m so excited to see my sweet friends and hear all about their holiday adventures! See you soon!

In December our little artist competed a candy cane that represented Pop Artist Roy Lichenstein. We will start the new year learning about new artists. Can’t wait to see their smiling faces. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!

This month in Science we’ll be talking about surface tension with a great activity using different liquids, seeing different states of matter in shaving cream and having P.E. with Ms. Sandra!
