Mrs. Woodmansee's grade 6 science class tested out chemical reactions to make the volcanoes erupt.
Catholic Schools Week will be celebrated from Sunday, January 26th through Saturday, February 1st. It is the perfect time to celebrate what makes Good Shepherd great! There will be Open House for new families on Sunday, January 26th from 11am - 1pm. We have many special activities planned including Mass, Theme Days, and Stewardship Projects. Penny Wars are in full swing! Please help your class win by bringing in pennies,
nickels, dimes, quarters, $1’s, $5’s, $10’s, or $20’s (Nothing higher than a
$20 bill please!) Lower campus is collecting funds in their classrooms. Each
Upper campus classroom has a collection container in the cafeteria.
ROLLED COINS ARE WORTH DOUBLE POINTS!!!

Penny wars is a great way to combine math skills, teamwork, strategy (and practice
with currency for the younger grades) all while having fun! The funds collected will
help support the Good Shepherd Colorguard.
Penny Wars will end on Jan 31 st . We will award the top three classes with highest
points and top three classes with the most pennies collected. Winning classes will
be announced in February.
Great job by all so far, keep up the good work! Thank You for supporting the Good

As a reminder, we have transitioned to the winter uniforms beginning Friday, November 1st. Please be mindful of the school mandatory Uniform Policy which will be enforced as we are now past the warmer weather. Uniform Infraction Notices will be sent home for any student who does not adhere to the Uniform Policy according to the Good Shepherd Parent/Student Handbook.
Bishop Feehan Admissions Department would like to invite families at our Catholic partner schools to explore our Early Action program.
This program allows 5th, 6th and 7th grade students at our partner schools to apply and secure a seat in advance for freshman year of high school. Please learn more about our program at BishopFeehan.com/EarlyAction

Adult Paint Day
Adult Paint Day provided a great time for all who attended. Thank you to the PTO for organizing this great event. A special "Thank You" goes out to Mrs. Nolan, from 122Creations, who led the paint class here at school. 122Creations teaches art to ages 4 and up! Rediker Access
Good Shepherd School uses an electronic informational system called Rediker that allows parents to access their child's grades throughout the school year from Kindergarten through grade 8. This online platform provides access to teacher emails and student grades in an effort to promote a clear communication tool for our families. We ask that parents click the blue link below to activate your account in order to receive access to this important school information platform.
As a reminder for all students, cellphone use during school hours is prohibited. If students need to reach out to parents, they must go to the school office during break time to make the call.
Changes of dismissal should not be made through text messages during the day as it becomes a challenge during end of day dismissal.
All cellphones and Apple Watches should be kept in your child's backpack during the school day to avoid disruption during class time. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
Good Shepherd School will begin their volleyball seasons for students in grades 6-8 in March. We are looking for parent volunteers who may be interested in coaching this season. Coaches need to be BCI cleared and conduct one practice per week. Games usually take place during the week for the season. The season runs from April to the first week of June. If you are interested please reach out to Mrs. DeOliveira to complete paperwork.
Good Shepherd Basketball teams will practice utilizing the following schedule:
- Girls Grammar - Mondays from 6pm - 8pm
- Boys Junior - Tuesdays from 5pm - 7pm
- Girls Junior - Wednesdays from 6pm - 8pm
- Boys Grammar - Thursdays from 6pm - 8pm
