The Dangers of Vaping - A PSA for CBSD Families
Dear Central Bucks School District Family,
Below is a video produced by one of our Holicong eighth grade students, Mason Matich. Mason was awarded first place in the recent CB Cares Educational Foundation “Dangers of Vaping” public service announcement contest. We encourage you to share this video with your family and discuss it together.
We’re proud of Mason, and the role he has chosen to play in helping to educate his classmates on this dangerous behavior. We thank CB Cares for their continued partnership in the health, wellness, and success of our community.
Great work, Mason!
Stay Well,
John J. Kopicki, Ed.D.

Linden's Family Fitness Night
As part of our Wellness Week, Linden hosted Family Fitness Night on Thursday March 21st. Families worked out together, had lots of fun and heard healthy messages about physical fitness, gratitude, and healthy habits in general. Mrs. Williams facilitated two workout sessions: HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) and GLOWGA (yoga in the dark with glow sticks). Mrs. Logue shared the Swork-it Kids App and she explained how students are using their technology skills while still staying active in the PE setting. Mrs. Bredin was a fabulous support presence of our wellness team. This home-school message about health and wellness was well received by all. We are so proud to be part of this annual community -building event.

May Fair Volunteers Needed!
The May Fair Committee is looking for 2 new members!! We have already started our work in planning this year's fair, held on Saturday, May 18th from 10AM - 2PM. Many hands make light work! We meet every other Wednesday at either 10:00AM or 2:00PM, depending on the schedules of our committee members. Our meetings are well organized and just last one hour! Your involvement would include: assembling a raffle basket, brainstorming ideas for new games, and then getting supplies for the games along with your committee members. Our team also helps set-up the fair on Friday, May 17th and helps manage the fair on Saturday, May 18th.
If you are interested in helping, please email Amanda Owen, May Fair Chair, at owenfamily2001@gmail.com.

We are looking for volunteers to help run the school store on Friday mornings! We are asking for 1-2 students and his/her parent to be at school at 8:30am to set up the school store and then sell items until 9:05am. The parents would then stay to put away the items. Instructions/directions will be provided!
