Toros Triumph as Scholars, Leaders, and Champions!

Dear Toro Families,

Welcome back! I am thrilled to begin my second year as your principal at Yorba Middle School. I hope your summer has been filled with relaxation, adventure, and cherished moments with family and friends.

As we embark on this new school year, I am delighted to announce that we have retained our exceptional teaching and instructional staff, who are as dedicated as ever to nurturing the academic and personal growth of our students. Additionally, we have a few new faces joining our team, whom I am eager to introduce to you soon.

The theme for this year, "Toros Triumph as Scholars, Leaders, and Champions," embodies our commitment to excellence in education and leadership development. Together, we will celebrate achievements both in and out of the classroom, encouraging every student to reach their full potential.

**Important Dates for August:**

- **Registration:** August 13-15

- August 13: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM for 8th grade

- August 14: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM for 7th grade

- August 15: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM for make-ups or siblings

During registration, students will have the opportunity to purchase uniforms and PE clothes, pick up their books, and take ID card pictures.

- **First Day of School:** August 21, starting promptly at 8:15 AM

Please mark your calendars and ensure that all necessary preparations are made to kick off the school year smoothly.

I look forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new members of our Yorba Middle School family. Together, let's make this year one of growth, achievement, and memorable experiences.

2024-25 Bell Schedule

Registration is mandatory--we need all Toros in attendance!

Plan to spend about 60 mins to go through each of the stations. We will be verifying data confirmation, and students will be taking ID pictures, purchasing school uniforms, receiving school books and planner.

New Student Orientation!

Incoming 7th Grade and 8th grade students new to Yorba Middle School are invited to join us for an orientation on one of the following days:

Wednesday, August 14th from 1-2pm

Thursday, August 15th from 9:30-10:30am.

Meet in the MPR, Parents are welcome but not required!

Vaccine Records Needed for all 7th Graders

A copy of each students' vaccine records will be needed during registration. Please email our health clerk, Ms. Roque-Rivas at lroque-rivas@orangeusd.org if you have any questions.
