Carroll Magnet Middle School
May Your Days Be Merry and Bright
In a few short days, we will all be gifted with a quick break from our immense Carroll responsibilities. You deserve this time away. You deserve to relax. You deserve to spend time with your family and friends. You deserve to sleep-in and still take a nap. Sharpen the saw. Make this break a real break. Do something for yourself. You deserve it.
Visibility Challenge
Visibility matters. In the next few days, QR codes will be displayed in every classroom. School leaders, counselors, and coaches will be checking-in to classrooms every visit to track a monthly visibility challenge. Once available, a link will be shared with all faculty and staff to follow this challenge live.

Professional Learning and Planning Days
The first two professional learning and planning day sessions have been well-received. Based on initial feedback, I plan to continue hosting the January sessions at my house. For those of you who are interested, I have included some of the resources we have been using, our agenda from the second session, and evaluation feedback from both sessions below.
Beyond the Classroom
Have you been documenting your beyond the classroom (community building) experiences? If not, please update the space dedicated to you in the binder next to the jiffy machine in the main office. This information will be discussed at mid-year PDP meetings. Also, Ms. Sherling and Mr. Dickson will need a few volunteers for our upcoming strings and band concerts. Interested? Please see me.
