Welcome to the BHS Express
A newsletter keeping you informed about Batavia High School
Hello Bulldog Families.
BHS operated on Flex Schedules on Wednesday and Thursday in order to have longer blocks of time to take practice End of Course Restart/Readiness Assessments or to work on projects/labs that allow for more class time. These adjusted schedules help our teachers dig into the information that’s given to them from these practice assessments in order to help our students as they progress throughout the school year in anticipation of the state graduation End of Course assessments. It’s just one additional piece of information that helps our teachers. Our students did a great job with following the schedule and paying attention to where they were supposed to be and when.
Please remember that we are collecting formal dresses and other formal attire in anticipation of our “Blessed with a Dress” event on September 12th. As homecoming is approaching the end of September, this is a wonderful opportunity for students to put their homecoming wardrobe attire together AT NO COST!
Check out some updated dates and information about our school pictures, an informational meeting about travel, the hype videos created by our Video Production Class, and our September 16th PD day where no students are in attendance.
We hope you enjoy this weekend.
In service to our Bulldogs.
