Message from Mrs. Gilbert & Mr. Ramalho
So many events are on the horizon at South Row. Please make sure to be checking communication so you don't miss out. Next week, we have Fit for Cure on Tuesday morning. This is a before school event that starts at 8am. With the number of students expected to attend we are requesting no drop offs. Parking for families will be at the church, we need to keep all other spaces available for staff. Thank you for your participation and attention to this in advance!
We also have our PTO Sunshine dance scheduled for Saturday May 6th. All are welcome!! Bring your dancing shoes. More details can be found below.
Additionally, we are looking for two School Council members for next year. It is a 3 year term and the commitment involves one hour evening meetings once per month. Members may also help with the Science Fair. If you are interested please reach out to Jayson or Terri.
Enjoy your weekend.
Respectfully,
Terri and Jayson

Last Day of School Information (From Dr. Lang's 4/12/23 Newsletter): There have been inquiries as to the last day of school this year. At the April 11th School Committee meeting, we reviewed the tentative last day of school for the 2022/23 school year, so families and staff have an estimated date for the end-of-year closure. Information about the last day of school may be found in the April 11th School Committee Memo. The tentative last day of school for students and staff based on current school closures, without an additional need to close schools between now and May 31st, are as follows:
All Schools: CHS, Parker, McCarthy, Byam, Center, Harrington, South Row, and CHIPS
Last Day for Students: Thursday, June 15th – Half-Day (Full-Day for Staff)
Last Day for Staff: Friday, June 16th – Half Day
Fitness for Cure (May Kind Act): Fitness for Cure has been scheduled for May 2nd starting at 8:00 am (rain date: May 3rd at 8:00 am) before school and will take place on the basketball court, fields, and tennis court area with a variety of fun activities. This is a free event, but we will accept donations to St. Judes Childrens Hospital. With the number of students expected to attend we are requesting no drop offs. Parking for families will be at the church, so we can keep all other spaces available for staff. Thank you for your participation and attention to this in advance!
Water Bottles/Sunscreen: The warm weather is here and hopefully will stick around! Please send your child to school with a water bottle daily. Students will be outside for recess and other activities, please remember to apply sunscreen too!
Art Show Volunteers: Click here to support Ms. Cristantiello in setting up for the Art Show. Thanks in advance for your consideration.
