PV Bobcat Bulletin
March 2025
Principal's Update
Hello Prairie View Families!
Time sure does keep Marching on.....(bad dum dum cha!) Ok, there is my dad joke for the bulletin! Our students and staff have continued to keep working along through all of the cold days that we had and we made it through! Our 2nd and 3rd graders are ready for their IREAD3 tests coming up and our K-1-4-5 students continue to progress with their classroom standards and practice towards ILEARN. As the weather starts to turn in our favor, we will have field trips and other exciting activities for our students throughout the spring. Our student council did an amazing fundraiser bringing in over $5,000 to purchase an extra AED to make Prairie View the safest school it can be. I could not be more proud of our student council for their drive and initiative, as well as our student body and Bobcat Family who donated throughout the month! As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to any of our Prairie View staff.
GO BOBCATS!!
Sincerely,
Mr. Kris Staats
Principal

Our student council put on an amazing fundraiser raising over $4,000 dollars to purchase another AED for here at Prairie View. We would love to see a great turnout on this morning so they can showcase all the other hard work they have done around Heart Safety. You can come with your student, and when it is time to leave, they will head off to start their regular school day! There will be interactive stations, information, and lots more for everyone to participate in. We hope to see you there!

Smart Social Digital Resources
We are excited to announce that the New Prairie United School Corporation has recently partnered with SmartSocial.com for its on-demand resources for parents and students. SmartSocial covers a wide range of digital and social media topics that we feel are relevant to our students. We have purchased parent memberships for every parent in our district to give you access to these resources and help you learn how to navigate the negative (and positive) parts of social media with your students.
