We have so much to celebrate on the First Day of Spring on Tuesday March 19th! The weather is warming up, and the snow is melting; we have made it through the long winter months, and warmer days are here, and spring break is here next week!!

This Tuesday we will have our "Yes Day" is support of our Lenten Project for Catholic Social Services. See below what activities your child can participate in with their donations.

Your timely registration plays a crucial role in helping us create the best possible learning environment for your child.

11 Expert Tips for Parents of Picky Eaters

Well, we survived time change and are looking forward to the first day of Spring on March 19. Soon new life will break forth, just as Easter brings new life for us all. It is potluck Sunday. Please bring a dish to share and enjoy some fellowship with parishioners and Seeds of the Word, the group that is here doing our Lenten Mission. We are still looking for lectors and eucharistic ministers for Holy Week. As well as people to have their feet washed on Holy Thursday.

Our students had such a great faith-filled experience opportunity with our guests from Seeds of the Word Ministry on Thursday, March 14th. The theme of our faith retreat is “Growing, in love with the Father”. The students were so engaged and enjoyed the activities for the day and the yummy pasta lunch. Huge shout out to the parents who helped make lunch and serve the students and guests.

This Lent, all GSACRD school communities are participating in the annual GSACRD Lenten Campaign to raise funds for Catholic Social Services in support of Immigration and Settlement Services and the Refugee Relief Fund. In particular, we are supporting a program called Parenting In Two Cultures.

Parenting in Two Cultures helps refugees, immigrants, and multicultural families learn how to adapt to Canadian culture. This program provides guidance on how to raise healthy, happy families and their children as they build their new lives in Canada while maintaining their ethnic identity. It also helps participants connect with other parents and children who may be facing similar challenges.

It was a great turnout for the open house on Thursday evening! Thank you to everyone who came out to see what is happening in the school and checking out the drama performance of Wacky Wonka Reunion.
