It is always a bit hard to believe when May comes to a close and June is upon us! With June 14th approaching us so quickly, I want to remind you that we will be dismissing students on Friday, June 14th at 11:15. Students will have the option to take home a 'grab and go' lunch that day. Please let your child's teacher know if you would like them to bring lunch home that day.

One amazing Durham tradition is the 5th grade Samba program. Each year Mr. Silverman and Mrs. Wolfe lead our 5th graders through impressive lessons and performances. The grand finale is participating in Jr. Rose Festival Parade. Below is a picture of our 5th graders practicing in the Durham parking lot. They will be joining the Jr. Rose Festival Parade in Portland on June 5th! So exciting!

Thank you for all of your support and help with our special end-of-the-year activities this spring! We look forward to finishing strong and enjoying our last two weeks together.

Club K After School Zone is excited to continue providing child care services for the Durham families. Club K After School Zone is committed to excellence in care and has been providing before and after school child care programs, full day programs and summer camps since 2006. We offer a personal level of service and attention that enables us to provide positive outcomes for the students in our programs as well as meet the needs of today’s working families. Family Partnership Advocate - 503-431-4557 - If your family is struggling or in need of backpacks, school supplies, clothing or housing issues please reach out to Ms. Marino, she will help you navigate this issues and will try to find resources for you.

Student Support Specialist - 503-431-4509 - If you feel your student needs additional support please reach out to Quinn Romein for assistance. She manages 504 plans, student support plans, and can help families access counseling department resources
