Are you interested in a career in the healthcare field? Apply to our Allied Health program! Students gain real-world experience through a series of job shadowing field trips at local hospitals AND earn college credit at UConn.
There will be an informational meeting about the Allied Health program on Friday, Feb. 9th during ALL LUNCH WAVES. Bring your lunch to the Career Center and learn more about this exciting opportunity. Applications will be handed out at the meeting and will be due on February 15th.

Declutter and Help the Class of 2026
The Class of 2026 is collecting gently used clothing, linens, and other household items to donate as part of their Savers FUNdrive. Bring fabric items in bags and household items in boxes to room 214 or 223.
The deadline to donate is February 1st!

👀Looking Back on December
Winter Concert
The RHS: Marching RAM Band, Concert Choir (s) and Concert Band performed at RHS on December 14th. The concert concluded with a special finale of "Sleigh Ride" featuring several alumni from past years. The musicians enjoyed playing for the audience and it was an incredible night!
ASTE Holiday Sale
This years Holiday Sale took place on November 30th from 2:30 – 6:30. Student sold wreaths, centerpieces, and porch pots! Our students also offered a number of small stocking stuffers and gifts. All items were handcrafted and created by our students!
Rockville Public Library Visits RHS
Students learned more about RPL, as well as completed an origami craft with teen librarian Ms. Danielle.

Door Decorating Contest
Advisory classes got to decorate their classroom door for Rockville's annual door decorating contest. The class themes were as follows:
9th: FALL
10th: SUMMER
11th: Winter
12th: Spring
Classes had an extended advisory to complete their door. Students collaborated to make super creative designs. Each grade level was awarded a winning door, the creators of which received donuts as a reward! The winners are as follows:

💡Classroom Spotlight
Creative Writers win Young Writers Flash Fiction Competition
Eight RHS Creative Writers were winners in the Young Writers Flash Fiction Competition. Their pieces were selected for publication from over 8,000 entries from across the nation. Congratulations to Ali Columbo, Makenzie Fox, Aurora Luce, Mars Hermanson, Jayden Spaulding, Teshaun Williams-Miller, Adiyella Ramirez Gandia, and Jule Quinones.
🏆RAMS Athletics
Girl's Basketball- Gingerbread Houses!
The RHS Girl's basketball team paired up with VCMS Girl's Basketball to have an awesome night of fun together making Gingerbread houses! The girl's had such a cool bonding night full of fun! Nice job ladies!
Winter Sports
Our winter sports are into their regular seasons. Girls basketball, boys basketball, indoor track, wrestling, cheerleading, dance, boys and girls ice hockey, and Unified Sports are all offered during the winter.
Come out and support our winter teams! During the winter we do charge admission to our basketball games. Cost is $5 for adults and $2 for students. Seniors over 60 and children under age 10 are free. Cash only.

Amir Knighton and Jonathan Kasamba were named All State for football. Congratulations to you both!
Attention Seniors! We need your Dell Computers!
Dell computers were given to RHS in 2020, and they have served you well throughout your time here. These computers have software that is expiring on January 21st. Therefore, we need to replace your Dell computer with a BRAND NEW Chromebook that you will use for the remainder of the school year. Please stop by the Library Media Center with your Dell computer and your charger during any of the following days/times to receive your brand new Chromebook:

Your work and documents should all be saved in Google Drive, however if you have anything saved on your Dell desktop, please take the time to move it to your Google Drive BEFORE you come to the LMC to swap your computer.
