Thanks to a generous grant, EES 5th grade students enjoyed a day at Junior Achievement’s BizTown, running businesses and using their “paychecks” to shop at student-run stores. Prior to their trip, students learned about civic responsibility, finance, and the economy. They even elected a BizTown Mayor.
