From the Principal's Office
Greetings Aztecs,
Thank you to every student and adult who planned, ran, and participated in our 2nd No Backpack Day of the year. It was exciting to spend the day strengthening connections with our students and school. Because of this event every student’s high school experience will be that much better. Aztecs keep the momentum going and increase your involvement in school activities.
We hope that everyone has a wonderful Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. Please take time to reflect and be thankful for Dr. King Jr.’s work fighting for civil rights, promoting equality, and advocating for non-violent forms of protest. His sacrifices and ideals will forever inspire us.
Mission on the Mesa!
As a reminder, here is the link to our Community School tab which has the various survey links on the right hand side.

Non-Privilege List
At MOH, we implement a non-privilege list. The list is created and updated regularly based on the following:
- Discipline: Any students suspended from school will be added to the list and may roll over to the next grading period for excessive referrals to the Assistant Principal.
- Attendance: 3 full day unexcused absences/18 single period unexcused absences or 12 unexcused tardies.
Click on the link to access the list:
docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1v46TN4iNSEfQIYnATVHMFMJ9AYOQVyo8a8jx7j9Vaio/edit?usp=sharing
Students on the list are not able to attend or buy tickets to extra curricular activities outside of the school days such as dances or athletic events.
How to Clear Your Name from the List:
For Attendance: Attend Saturday School!
Discipline: Maintain behavior reflecting our Aztec values. Students will be re-evaluated at the end of each grading period. Referrals to the Assistant Principal will impact removal from the non-privilege list. We strongly encourage you to attend Saturday School!
