Happy March, Cardinal Families!
Spring is just around the corner, and we are moving full speed ahead into the second half of the school year! This is the time when focus and perseverance pay off. Stay committed, keep pushing forward, and remember—every step you take brings you closer to your goals! You’ve got this, Cardinals! Don't forget next week we have Spring Break, and no teacher meetings! This is a great time for our students to catch up on their work and/or get ahead!
By now, your student should be about 30% through their 2nd semester courses (Module 27 for K-5). To stay on track, students should continue working a "normal" school day of 4-5 hours per day. One of the best parts of our program is its flexibility—whether your student prefers to work in longer sessions or in smaller chunks throughout the day, as long as they put in the time, their progress bars should "stay in the blue." (See pictures below for how to check progress.)
Upcoming Events & Reminders
🔴 SBAC & CAST Testing – State testing begins the week of March 24. All 3rd-8th and 11th grade students will need to come in person to complete their tests. Please plan accordingly! You should have received an email from me earlier this week.
🔴 9th -12th grade Summer School Applications – Applications are now available and are due by April 1st. Summer school is a great opportunity for students to get ahead or recover credits. Don’t miss out!
🔴 Registration for Next Year is Open – We are accepting new student enrollments for the 2024-25 school year. If you know families looking for a flexible and supportive online learning environment, encourage them to apply!
March is a great time to reflect on progress and set goals for the remainder of the school year. Keep up the great work, stay focused, and finish strong! Your hard work and dedication are paving the way for success. Let's make this month count!
Sincerely,
Annabelle Lee
