The Fowler Weekly
June 10-14
MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Fowler Families,
Welcome to the final week of school! We can tell students are excited, and we want them all to finish strong. As you can see by the events below we have a lot going on this week. 8th grade students will have two great experiences in a Social Studies field day learning about the Civil War era and an Oaks Park trip in addition to the full school events of our talent show and 8th grade vs. staff basketball game. Please also look for an email later this evening regarding yearbook purchases. There is more info below, but we do want to make sure all families who want a yearbook know how to get one before the last day of school. (We do have limited extra copies at this time)
Thank you for your amazing support this year. We will miss our 8th graders as they transition to the high school, and I will miss all of our students as I transition to another building next year. Please look for future communication in this section to come from Principal Cindy Pellicci.
With respect and gratitude,
Andy
HAPPENINGS
Let’s celebrate a whole lot of Falcons! Staff members handed out nearly 300 Fowler Fist Bumps to students this week during the Morning Meeting Assemblies. Join us in saying, “Job well done!” to the following students:
Important Reminder: Please be sure to pick up any medication that you have signed in for your student at school. Students 15 and older may take their own medications home on their last day of school, but those younger than 15 will need their parents to pick up their medication. Medication will be only be kept in the office for two days after the close of the school year this year due to construction shutting down the building after June 18. After June 18th , any medication left at Fowler will be discarded per district policy.
While it is not too late to purchase a yearbook, we realize that many families are unaware of whether or not they have done so yet.
You will receive a separate email this evening confirming whether or not we have record of a yearbook purchase for your student.
We will continue to sell yearbooks through Wednesday, June 12. Any yearbooks sold prior to Thursday will be handed out in Morning Meeting on Friday, June 14. In order to purchase a yearbook right now:
You may send a check or cash with your student to turn in to the Main Office or you can click here and purchase the yearbook online.
PLEASE follow these instructions to be sure your student gets their yearbook:
When paying online you will need your student’s ID number and their legal last name as it appears on their school records (upper and lowercase sensitive).
If you have problems logging in please email smilettivega@ttsd.k12.or.us to have your password reset. PLEASE DO NOT set up a guest account.
If students still have not had a chance to purchase their yearbook prior to Friday, we WILL have them for sale until they are gone, Friday morning.
