As we wrap up another month, it's hard to believe how quickly December has flown by! The holiday season is upon us, bringing a time of joy, reflection, and togetherness. We hope that this month has been filled with memorable moments for you and your loved ones.
In this edition of our monthly newsletter, we’ll highlight some of the exciting upcoming events and important updates as we prepare to welcome the new year. We encourage you to take a moment to read through and discover the wonderful things happening at Dodgeland.

Gearing Up For High School
This event is designed for 8th-grade students and their parents/guardians. Attendees will gain valuable insights into high school credit requirements, explore course options and secure course selections, discuss high school expectations, and cover other essential topics to ensure a successful and fulfilling high school journey.

Junior Planning Night
The annual Junior Planning Conference is designed for junior students and their parents/guardians. During the conference, participants gain valuable insights into future planning. The high school counselor and college representatives will share information on opportunities after high school, ACT preparation, senior year course selection, and post-secondary planning.
When: February 19, 2025
Time: 6:00–7:00 PM

A few reminders when checking PowerSchool!
From the parent view (pictured above) there are many quick things you are able to see and access including...

Our district will be participating in the Family Engagement Survey in late January/early February 2025. All families with children ages 3-17 who receive special education services through an IEP will be invited to complete the survey online.
The survey link will be sent to you via email early in 2025. We encourage you to participate and share your experiences and perspectives. Your feedback will help us strengthen our partnership with families and improve the services we provide to children with special needs.

Is your player participating in a spring sport? Have you and your player attended a mandatory player/parent Sports Meeting this school year? If you have not, the final meeting will be held on February 19th at 6:00 pm in the Middle School Gym. If you are unsure whether you need to attend, please contact Mrs. Blattner (blattner@dodgeland.k12.wi.us) for questions.
