High Point Elementary Updates

The High Point Elementary FIT 5K returns in person on Friday, May 10th for the first time since 2019! Join us for this family favorite event with any proceeds this year going toward rebuilding the climbing wall. Please see attached information and registration forms. The deadline to register is Friday, April 19th. Please note, this is a strict deadline by the vendor. We are so excited to bring this awesome event back and hope to see many families there!

April is designated Month of the Military Child to honor the contributions and sacrifices of our military families.

Show your support for all military kids by wearing purple on National Purple Up Day, our first day back from spring break on April 15, 2024.

Do you know a staff member who you feel makes a profound impact on students and Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools? If so, nominate them for the GJPS Heart and Pride award. This award is open to any staff member. regardless of position. Each month, the district will take the nominations to the Heart and Pride Committee, which is composed of community members and former staff members. The committee will select two winners a month that will be recognized by our Board of Education at the monthly meeting. If you have a staff member in mind, please complete THIS GOOGLE FORM. Nominations can take place all year.

Families of students coming to GMS East for the 2024-25 school year:

I know that it is hard to believe, but it is time to start thinking about the 2024-25 school year! We have our school supply list ready to go and our Yubbler (on-line ordering) account is also up and running as well. You are welcome to use this supply list to shop between now and the start of the school year OR you can use Yubbler to place your order.

Yubbler will deliver your supplies right to your home and the GMSE PTA shares a portion of the profit. Acting quickly through Yubbler will also provide families with a discount!
