We have had some indoor recess this week due to the windchill. It also seems the cold sneaks up on us when it hasn't snowed much yet and we aren't used to bringing all the winter gear yet. Please send your child to school dressed for the MN weather! We do have extra snow pants, jackets, boots, mittens and hats at school.

If you are looking for something fun to do indoors over the winter months, check out Roseville Area High School sports schedule. You can click on individual sports or the overall calendar. I will be at Friday's Boy's basketball home opener with my kids!

There is also a musical this weekend! Taking young children to these events now is a great way to get them to know the middle school and high school buildings and to expose them to different opportunities.

Please make sure to label your child’s outerwear, jackets, hoodies, water bottles, lunchboxes, etc. As we are going through lost and found items if a student’s name is on the item it will be returned to them.

Calling all young princes and princesses! Come visit with your favorite lily pad princess from New Orleans and golden-haired tower princess! Enjoy character performances, character-led activities, dancing, sing-alongs, photo opportunities, a craft, and an afternoon of fun. Children must be accompanied by an adult participant. Children are welcome to wear their favorite fairytale costume!

It's not too late to register yourself or your child for winter swim lessons with Roseville Community Education! We have a variety of classes with spots still open. Do you have young children? Do you know a friend or family member that does? Registration has now started for our next session of Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) classes! ECFE supports the growth and learning of caregivers and children together, as the classes and resources equip parents with beneficial tools for raising their child. We offer classes for caregivers and children ages birth to 5 years! Class fees are determined with a sliding scale, and we also offer FREE classes.
