The First Swim Meet of the Season is Upon Us
Hello Everyone --
It doesn't seem possible that we are getting ready to compete for the first time this season. Your swimmer(s) have been working hard to get ready. We will continue to grow and learn to be ready for Thursday. A lot of our swimmers will be competing for the first time. So we encourage you to come out and join us this week. Please note that the weekly schedule supercedes the monthly calendar if they differ in any way. This week is the only change otherwise the rest of the monthly schedule remains the same. Thank you for being so flexible.
Please please get your swim suit fees paid today so that we can get our order completed. As it is we will not have team suits this week. Payment links are above.
On Friday we began our fitness assessments for our dryland training. The goal is to see where the swimmers fit so that we can maximize their out of pool Strength training. We need all swimmers to participate. Please be sure to use our dryland workouts in our newsletter to enhance all of your training. We need all swimmers to participate.
It is really important to have our swimmers and parents fill out the swimmer and parent info link. These need to be completed by Friday or swimmers will not be eligible to compete again until they are complete. Thank you for your help. This serves as a way to get to know swimmers but also to acknowledge team rules, etc....
We need your help: We really need family members to help us by signing up to time at our home swim meets. All of the information can be found below. Please help us to make our home meets successful. It is very easy, we will train you and you get the best seats in the house.

Swim Meet vs. Jesuit @ Beaverton Swim Center Info
Hello Again -
Our swim meets start at 3:00pm which means early release for our swimmers. We have swimmers from many option schools as well. I will separate the information for release by Aloha students and Option School Students. But first, all swimmers will need to have a competitive suit (no two-pieces and no swim trunks). Please see Coach Lisa or Coach Dom if there is a problem. We will issue team swim caps this week.
On Wednesday we will do a mini mock meet to show you how things run. Only Blue & Green Squad will compete this week. But, All swimmers are expected to attend the swim meet.
Aloha Students: You will be released early on Thursday @ 1:15pm and will need to make your way over to the gym entrance quickly. Coach Dom will be there to take attendance. The bus departs at 1:30pm. When you arrive at the Beaverton swim center you will need to change quickly - please bring sweats so that you can wait in the spectator section until you can enter the water. All Aloha students must ride the bus unless arrangements are made prior and with permission from Coach Lisa
Option School Students: You will need to have your parents release you and get you the Beaverton swim center by 2:00pm. I am sure that if you work together you can arrange for carpools, etc... Please note your parents will need to arrange your early release for 1:30pm to be able to get to Beaverton swim center located next to Beaverton High School. The address is: 12850 SW 3rd St, Beaverton, OR 97005.
Warm ups are at 2:30 and we begin our meet at 3:00pm.
If you would like to take your swimmer home with you, you will need to use our sign out sheet at the end of the swim meet. Only parents/guardians are able to transport their own swimmer(s) unless we have written permission by Wednesday.

Family Volunteers for Swim Meets
Hello All --
It literally takes a village to make a swim meet work. This is where you come in as families of our swimmers. We need volunteers to help run our swim meets. These are easy and fun jobs that we will train you for. It literally takes about 5 minutes to learn the ropes. Our community has always been so supportive and we have the best family of volunteers so I am reaching out early so that you can adjust your calendars. Please know, these are the best seats in the house and we provide treats.
Prior to Volunteering - You will need to go through the Beaverton School District's New Volunteer Process. Please use the following steps and then you can sign up to time.
Go here: https://www.beaverton.k12.or.us/departments/communications-community-involvement/volunteer
Click "Volunteer Application"
Finish the application, and check for the EMAIL CONFIRMATION that states your app is being processed.
PLEASE NOTE: the approval process can take up to 10 business days, and you can not volunteer until cleared so please start the process now.
