A Word from Mrs. Small Regarding Music Concerts for 2024-2025

Greetings MWES Families,

There have been some recent inquiries regarding a Christmas concert at Mable Woolsey this school year. Due to my newness as well as Ms. Doran joining our team after the first of the school year, I have moved all music concerts to the spring. Ms. Doran and I both agreed that we did not want to throw something together but rather we wanted to create a meaningful experience for both students and families.

Ms. Doran is a substitute teacher working on her license who joined us in September. She has graciously offered to work with me and the staff for a spring concert series. During the springtime we will host a series of concerts. Each grade level will have a designated concert to showcase their many talents. Thank you for your understanding on this necessary shift. There will be more information to come regarding spring concerts.

Looking forward to next year, we plan to host multiple concerts spread throughout both semesters.
