The Family "Celebration" Chronicle
May 2024
A Message From The Principal
Greetings Margaretta Middle & High School Families,
May has arrived and it is hard to believe we are approaching the end of another amazing school year here at Margaretta. This is the time to reflect on the incredible achievements of our students. The past months have been a testament to their dedication, talent, and hard work towards their academic and athletic accomplishments. I couldn’t be more honored to witness their growth and success this past year.
Our students have done exceptionally well academically and we're excited to celebrate their achievements at our upcoming banquet. They've shown a strong commitment to their academics. Throughout the past school year, students have achieved remarkable academic success with the support of both teachers and families. They have demonstrated their passion for learning and determination to succeed. They have built a strong foundation as they continue through their academic journey here at Margaretta or prepare for their future beyond high school.
Margaretta students at all levels have developed and refined their incredible talents throughout the year. Our artists and musicians have showcased their skills through outstanding performances and remarkable displays of artwork at various concerts and shows throughout the year. Students have enriched our school with their creativity and passion for the arts. We are very fortunate at Margaretta to have the talents and dedication of Mrs. Skinner and Mr. and Mrs. Reardon to develop the artistic and musical talents of our students.
Whether our students are on the field, court, mat or track, our student-athletes have shown incredible dedication and sportsmanship. Endless hours have been spent preparing for various athletic competitions and their hard work and determination has brought much success. Athletics are not just about winning or losing, they're about students building skills and forming relationships. Through sports, students grow as people and develop a skillset that will benefit them for life.
As we approach the end end of yet another school year, we are excited to honor and celebrate our graduating seniors. These remarkable individuals have left an indelible mark on our school community, and we are extremely proud of their accomplishments and achievements. As they prepare to move on to the next chapter of their lives, we look forward to honoring them and celebrating their successes at our upcoming graduation ceremony.
As we reflect on the past year, I am filled with gratitude for the incredible students, parents, guardians, and staff who make our school community so special. Together, we have created a supportive environment where every individual is valued and empowered to succeed.

Happy Spring! I hope that everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather that we have been experiencing!
As many of you know we are finishing up working on schedule requests for next year. Requests have been entered into the scheduling program. Some students have a few schedule conflicts due to the amount of one time a day classes that we have at MHS and other issues that may have happened. Students that have conflicts are being asked to meet with me. During these meetings we are discussing schedule choices that need to be made.
If you have questions or concerns that I can help you with please call me at (419) 684-5351 or email me at hlott@margarettaschooldistrict.com
