Thank You
Dear Delaney Families,
I hope that you and your families are doing well during these challenging times. The Wrentham Public Schools community has worked collectively to make the transition to remote learning a successful one. Teachers are adjusting to a new way of teaching, students are adjusting to a new way of learning, and parents are adjusting to both of these new situations. I can’t thank you all enough for your flexibility. I am grateful for the hard work of the teachers, proud of the hard work of the students, and appreciative of the flexibility and support of the families.
We know that individual families have different needs and priorities during this time, and we are here to support you in any way possible. Please remember that all work on the weekly lesson calendar is optional, there is no requirement for work completion, and no work will be graded during the school closure. Although we would prefer students to complete the assigned lessons and tasks to prevent regression, we know that families have different priorities during this time. If it's preferable for your family to pick and choose various lessons in the learning calendar for your child to work on each day, that strategy is supported by the WPS staff.
Please tell your children how much I miss them! I am trying to join at least one Google Class Meeting for each classroom so that I can say hello and chec in on how everyone is doing.
I hope you and your families continue to stay safe and healthy! Please let me know if I can be of support or assistance to you and your families. Please feel free to contact me at maloneyk@wrenthamschools.org with any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Kathleen Maloney
