Happy New Year! The beginning of the year is a wonderful opportunity to start fresh, set new goals, and work together to make this year one of growth and success for every student.

This week’s newsletter includes several important updates:

🍕 Pizza for Lunch: We’re thrilled to announce that pizza will now be available as a lunch option! Students can look forward to enjoying this exciting addition to our menu.

📱 Cell Phone Policy Update: A reminder that students may only use their cell phones during lunch. Phones will no longer be allowed during passing periods, and students will need to verify their phone is left in the classroom when leaving for the restroom. These changes support our focus on learning and minimizing distractions.

We’re thrilled to announce that Domino's Smart Slice pizza will now be available daily in our cafeteria! 🍕🎉

• Cost: The same as a school lunch.
• How it works: Students can select their pizza and items from the choice menu.

It was a combined East and West Minico team for the state tournament, but the trophy is going home to East this year.

As we begin the new semester, we want to share an update to our cell phone policy aimed at reducing distractions and maintaining a focus on learning. Effective immediately:

• Cell phones will not be allowed during passing periods.

• When asking to leave the classroom (e.g., for restroom use), students will be asked to verify their phone is left in the classroom.
