Daily Announcements
Gift Cards Needed - We hope to award faculty & staff with prizes during our Maryville City Schools In-Service Day in February. We think you will agree they deserve some special recognition! It would be wonderful to have all kinds of gift cards to share this year. If you have a gift card to re-gift or would consider buying a gift card, please send them to Angie Kizer at MJHS before the end of January. Thank You!
2025 Starlight Gala - Mark your calendars! The Maryville City Schools Foundation is excited to host the 2025 Starlight Gala on Friday, February 28th, 2025, at Airport Hilton. This special event brings our community together to celebrate and support our schools. Proceeds from the Gala benefit programs that enhance classroom learning, provide scholarships to Maryville High School seniors, and support students and families in need through the Children's Fund.
We would love for you to join us for an evening of honoring award winners, dinner, and giving!
Learn more about the Gala and the programs we support by visiting www.maryvillecityschoolsfoundation.org.
Freshman Football - Freshman Football will host an informational meeting on February 7th during Homeroom in the gym for interested 8th-grade boys.
State Testing - MJHS will be participating in the state-mandated ELA/English Writing Stand-Alone Field Test on Thursday, February 13, from 8:20 AM to 10:38 AM.
We kindly ask that you avoid scheduling appointments during this time to ensure all students can participate without interruptions. Thank you for your support and cooperation!

MJHS Ready Graduate
Maryville City Schools believes that every student deserves to enter the next phase of life with the appropriate tools for that next step. MCS desires to prepare every student to be "Ready" for one of the three "E"s: Enrollment, Employment, or Enlistment. By taking this purposeful and intentional approach, MCS has designed a college and career program that fits the individual needs of every student. Every student will be "Maryville Ready". We invite you to read our latest edition, MJHS Ready Graduate Gazette.

Cafeteria
Breakfast and Lunch are no longer free. Breakfast is $1.60. Lunch is $3.15.
Free/Reduced meal applications for the 24-25 school year will be ready to submit by July 18. Using our online application process is user-friendly and much faster to process than a paper form; however, you may request a paper application from your student's school. Only one application is needed per family.
If you receive any government assistance such as food stamps, Medicare, etc., you DO NOT need to apply. Current benefits from the previous school year will carry over until September 13; therefore, you have 30 school days to update your student's application.
