Attendance
Whole School Attendance this week - 94.7%
We are aiming for at least 97% - let's work together to make this happen!!
Please remember that if your child is going to be absent from school you should call school before 8.30am to report this. If they are off for multiple days, you should call school each day that they are off. If your child is suffering from something such as a cough or cold we do recommend that you send them into school and see how they get on. It is amazing how many children perk up once they get into school and we can assure you that if it becomes evident that a child should not be in school we will make contact with yourself as parent/carer.
As a school, our attendance has greatly improved over the last year and this is all thanks to you and the effort you are making in getting your children into school every day.
⭐🌟 Year 6 ⭐🌟
To our wonderful Year 6 children
We would like to take this opportunity to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our Year 6 children after a busy SATs week. Throughout the year, they have demonstrated unwavering determination, resilience, and a strong work ethic. Their dedication and mutual support for one another has been inspiring. As a school, we are incredibly proud of their accomplishments, both academically and as individuals within our Central Walker family.
Weekly Reflection
Christian Aid is a Christian organisation that insists the world can and must be swiftly changed to one where everyone can live a full life, free from poverty. Christian Aid’s work is founded on Christian faith, inspired by hope and acts to change an unjust world through charity – a practical love and care for our neighbours.
'Love your neighbour as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these." (Mark 12 v31)
We know Jesus challenges us to love our neighbour. Christian Aid believes He meant our global neighbour too. Because of God’s commitment to justice and love for the poor, we can’t sit back and allow poverty to thrive. So together, thousands of Christian Aid churches, supporters, partners and staff work hard to save lives now and inspire lasting hope for the future.
Each bring what they have – energy, voice, influence, money, time, talents, prayer and worship – and use them to work towards a world that looks more like God’s Kingdom.
