Parent/Teacher Conference Schedule
It is time to schedule your February Parent/Teacher Conferences.
You are a vital partner in the education of your child. Parent/teacher conferences play an integral role in providing feedback regarding your child’s progress as well as formulating individual plans for success. We look forward to seeing you at conferences.
The schedule is as follows:
CONFERENCES FOR ALL STUDENTS
- Thursday, February 13, 2025 - 2:00 - 4:00 PM - IN PERSON ONLY
- Thursday, February 13, 2025 - 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM - IN PERSON ONLY
- Friday, February 14, 2025 - 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM - REMOTE ONLY
SCHEDULING YOUR CONFERENCES
We are using a conference system called PowerPTC. This system is integrated into the
PowerSchool Parent Portal. Please Note: The system does NOT work with the PowerSchool
Parent App. You must use the PowerSchool Parent Portal on a web browser either on your phone
or a computer.
If you do not have a PowerSchool Parent Portal account or you have forgotten your login

2025 GROUNDHOG DAY SILENT AUCTION
The Woodstock District 200 Education Foundation provides financial support for special programs and activities for our students through their fundraising efforts throughout the year. Please support our school by participating in this year’s annual Groundhog Day Silent Auction and Reverse Raffle Event. The on-line Silent Auction will take place from January 25th through February 2nd.
Please join us in our fundraising efforts to support unique special projects and activities to enhance the educational programs for our Woodstock Community Unit School District 200 students. Your participation is greatly appreciated by the:

ACT Testing Updates
The State of Illinois recently announced changes to the testing windows for the PreACT Secure for 10th grade students and PreACT Secure 9 for 9th grade students. As such, our testing schedule for students in grades 9-11 will be as follows:
All 11th grade students will take the ACT on Wednesday, April 9. This was our original testing date for the ACT, and it remains unchanged. Students in grades 9, 10, and 12 are excused for the day, and parents do not need to call in.
All 9th and 10th grade students will take either the PreACT Secure 9 or the PreACT Secure on Wednesday, April 16. Students in grades 11 and 12 are excused for the day, and parents do not need to call in.
All pertinent information will be sent home as we get closer to our testing dates.
Parent Information Night: Students with Special Needs
D200 will be holding another Parent Information Night on Wednesday, February 5th at 6:00 at Woodstock North High School. We will be covering planning and benefits for the future for students with special needs.
Student Services Happenings
First annual Parent University: Mar 4, 2025 from 6-8pm Watch for more details to come regarding this opportunity for sophomore and junior parents to learn about the college process.
FAFSA Workshop: Wednesday, February 5 from 5:30-7:30pm in the WNHS Commons and Wednesday, February 26 from 5:30-7:30pm in the WHS Commons.
These workshops are a great opportunity for seniors and their parents to complete their FAFSA with assistance from staff knowledgeable in the FAFSA and Alternative Application.
Students and parents should have created their FSA ID several days prior to the workshop. Be sure to have your username and password with you.
MCC Application Day for Seniors: If your senior plans to attend MCC but has not completed the application, please encourage them to attend on Monday, February 10th during 2nd period in the College & Career Center.
MCC Fall Next Steps Presentation: All seniors who have applied to MCC will be invited to this event on Monday, February 24 during 2nd period in the College and Career Center. MCC staff members will explain the next steps in the enrollment and course registration process. Please encourage your senior to attend if they plan to go to MCC.
