Thanks for sending all the great books in last week for our book swap this week! Students are going to enjoy shopping for new books to read during our Book Blitz this week and beyond!! Also, thank you for encouraging your child to read more at home. The more they read, the better they become!

The Book Blitz got off to a great start last week!! Students read a lot and some are already reaching their goals! The Blitz will continue all this week!

Our afterschool staff is finally receiving their fire safety training on Tuesday afternoon. Afterschool will be closed for our students on this day. Thanks for your patience and understanding!

It's the perfect weather for ice cream...or not! But it is always a great day when you support BES! Some of the proceeds from purchases at Jack the Dipper will be given to BES to use towards technology and teaching materials. Come on out and get some Cappuccino Crunch- my favorite!!

With missing snow due to the snow and cold temperatures, the 27 week test scheduled in February has now been moved to March 24-April 4. Thanks for making plans for students to be here on time on these days and more details on exactly when subjects/ grades will be testing will be sent home soon.

Students have the opportunity on February 7 (hat day) and February 14 (pajama day) to raise money for our Student Council's Compassion Project. The cost is $1 each Friday to wear the hat and pajamas. Thanks for your support!

We are excited about our upcoming Math events for our families!! We had this scheduled for October, but then Helene hit and we had to reschedule. Come and be with us to learn how your child is learning the math standards and games to play at home for practice! See you there!!

The new Bethel Bypass will begin this Monday, January 27th. Cars park in teh bus loop on the bus lot side of the building. On Monday, you will receive a special car tag to place on your rearview mirror each day.
