Connecting with Current Student Researchers Panel Discussion

Event Description: College of Science Research Readiness is a four-part series of workshops taking place each semester. This series equips College of Science students with resources and tools to apply for research opportunities.
The topics covered in the CoS Research Readiness Series include Finding Research Experiences, Communicating with Faculty About Your Research Interests, Summer Research Experiences, & Connecting with Current Student Researchers.
Learn more about Undergraduate Research from the Undergraduate Research Ambassadors. Student researchers will share their experiences with finding research and getting started in their positions, as well as presenting and sharing their work. You can also learn more about meeting directly with an Undergraduate Research Ambassador individually or in small groups.

- Write effectively to highlight your achievements During this workshop, you’ll get:
- Resume strategies
- 1:1 time with a Peer Coach to have your resume reviewed
- Resources to help you continue to perfect your resume

Women of Color Career Connections Program - Session 4: Gauging Culture Fit

Event Description: The Women of Color Career Connections Program (WOC3P) is a program series that aims to enhance the career readiness of women, transwomen, and femme people of color at the University of Arizona. Through participating in this program, members will be able to develop professionally and learn more about how their identities may impact their career journeys. This program will have five different interactive workshops through November and a culminating networking event to conclude the series in December. Attend this Women of Color Series session to learn about Gauging Culture Fit to Find a Safe Workplace. Students that attend 3 out of the 5 series sessions will be eligible to receive a certificate of completion and additional recognition. If you attend at least one of the series sessions, you will be invited to the exclusive networking event in December.
2024 Health Professions Career Fair

Event Description: This is a new fair created to connect students with employers in all fields of healthcare, including veterinary. In collaboration with Many departments from the University of Arizona Health Sciences including the College of Medicine, College of Pharmacy, College of Nursing, College of Public Health, College of Health Sciences, College of Veterinary, and The A Center (pre-health professions).
