Building Items:
Parent Teacher Conferences are this Week:
We will have banners and cards out for our parents to write positive messages to their students for the upcoming MAP testing weeks.
There will also be tables set up in the school square for parents to take the district/school survey. The parents will receive a ticket to write the teacher's name on and place it in the grade level bag. At the end of conferences the class with the most parents that took the survey will celebrate with a class Popsicle party!! A fun way to end a nice warm spring day week after next! :)
PBS Information from Jackie to Staff:
Please let staff know that our PBS webpage, linked to the GBE website, is updated. They can find all of the lessons and other documents included in the red notebook. The teacher referral form for tier 2 can also be found on the webpage.
Conferences approaching-- Info from Brandy to staff:
If you have a conference that you would like for me to sit in as a ELA resource, please let me know. Also...if you have any conversations that leave you needing home/parent resources, I am happy to pull some together for the additional support.

Roles and Norms--
Norms go back to our original PLC Guidelines-- take these ideas and format them into expectations for when you come together. This is just good practice.
Completion of two surveys--
1. Google Form on Substitutes-
2. I would like your input on collaborative data teams, data-based decision making, common formative assessments, and instructional practices at our school. These results are confidential, so please answer honestly. To have accurate results for planning purposes, all instructional staff need to take the survey. All results will be in school summary form (not individuals). The survey should only take 8-10 minutes to complete. Thank you in advance for taking the survey.
Please complete the survey following the link below (Please use either Chrome or Firefox).
