Second Semester Schedule Changes
As we begin the second semester, we want to inform you that this time of year often brings adjustments to schedules across various grade levels and programs. These changes are designed to ensure that we continue to meet the needs of our students and provide them with the best opportunities for growth and success.
Some reasons for schedule changes may include:
- Balancing class sizes
- Adjustments in elective courses
- Addressing academic needs
- Accommodating new students
We understand that changes can be an adjustment, and we are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible. If your child’s schedule has been impacted, they will receive all the necessary support to navigate any new routines.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher or our administration if you have any questions or concerns regarding schedule updates. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to create the best possible learning environment for all students.
Thank you for your continued support as we start this exciting new chapter of the school year.
Thank you, Krimmel Environmental Club!
We are thrilled to share some exciting news about a wonderful initiative led by our Environmental Club! These dedicated students worked hard to raise funds to support a meaningful project. Thanks to their efforts, we now have a beautiful live oak tree planted in the front of our school, helping to fill in the tree line and enhance our campus's natural beauty.
This live oak symbolizes more than just greenery—it represents our students’ commitment to environmental stewardship, teamwork, and giving back to their community. It’s a lasting contribution that we will all enjoy for years to come.
We encourage you to take a moment to admire this new addition as you move through the carpool lane. It’s a testament to the power of collective action and the incredible things our students can achieve when they come together for a cause.
Please join us in thanking the Environmental Club for their hard work and dedication to making our school and community a greener, more beautiful place!
Student Spotlight: Caden Zaragoza
We are so proud to shine a spotlight on one of our incredible 6th-grade students, Caden Zaragoza, whose initiative and heart have inspired our school community. After a lesson in Quest about the importance of making friends, Caden had a vision to create a Friendship Club where students could come together, connect, and build meaningful relationships.
What began as a simple idea quickly turned into something remarkable. During lunch, Caden was amazed to see students showing interest and wanting to join the club. His goal of creating a welcoming space for everyone to feel good and get to know one another is already making a difference!
The Friendship Club is a place where students can come together to play games, solve puzzles, color, and most importantly, form bonds that will last a lifetime. A big thank you to our supportive PTO for contributing games, puzzles, coloring books, and more to help make this club a success.
We also want to highlight Caden’s personal love of puzzles, which has become a fun and thoughtful way for students to connect during club meetings. His creativity, kindness, and leadership remind us all how one person can spark positive change in a community.
Please join us in congratulating Caden Zaragoza for turning his vision into reality and for creating a space that embodies friendship, kindness, and connection. We can’t wait to see how the Friendship Club continues to grow!
Welcome Home!
As we prepared for the holiday season, we were filled with joy and gratitude to welcome home Marco Ibarra, a proud Klein ISD graduate and former Krimmel Knight, along with his family. Marco Ibarra has been serving our country with honor, and it was an absolute privilege to have him back in our community.
Mr. Ibarra's dedication and sacrifice remind us of the true spirit of service and the strength it takes to protect and support others. We are incredibly proud to count Marco Ibarra among our alumni and grateful for the example they have set for all of us.

Dress Code Reminders
As the weather gets colder, we want to remind everyone about our school’s dress code to ensure a comfortable and focused learning environment for all students. While we understand the desire to bundle up and stay cozy, we ask for your support in the following:
- Hoodies: Students are welcome to wear hoodies, but the hood should not be worn on their heads while inside the school building. This helps us maintain clear communication and ensure safety.
- Pajama Pants: Pajama pants are not considered appropriate school attire and should be reserved for home or special spirit days when permitted.
We encourage students to dress warmly and comfortably in weather-appropriate clothing while following the dress code guidelines. Thank you for helping us create a positive and respectful school environment!

January Schedule/Bell Change
After careful consideration and planning, we will be transitioning to a consistent schedule for all days of the week. This change involves removing the Quest or Intervention period on Tuesdays through Thursdays and implementing our regular Monday/Friday schedule every day.
This new schedule will allow us to add valuable instructional minutes to each class period. These additional minutes will enable teachers to:
- Pull small groups for targeted support and enrichment.
- Facilitate academic stations where students can collaborate and deepen their understanding of concepts.
- Provide more time for hands-on learning and activities that engage students in meaningful ways.
We believe this change will create a more cohesive and productive learning environment, better supporting our students’ academic growth and success.
We appreciate your understanding and support as we implement this improvement. If you have any questions or concerns about the new schedule, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Thank you for your partnership in your child’s education!
