Veitnam Impacts Countries Worldwide
Brooke Kersey
Everyone Now is at a Loss
With the use of many different types of bombs and artillery, you can imagine the amount of casualties that would happen as a result. But not only the people fighting and living around the battle zone were affected, but people and countries all across the world as well; the United States, South Korea, Australia, the Philippines, New Zealand, Thailand, the Soviet Union, and China. People back home in all of these countries felt the impact by all of the bloodshed, economies dropping drastically, weakened public faith in government, and riots.

Run
Scared children scatter the street trying to get away from their fears of the war.
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
All of the troops returning to the US suffered terribly from the war. And most of the civilians didn't do anything about it but show them hate and aggression. Prior to this war, the people coming back were viewed as heroes, but the Vietnam veterans came back as "murderers" and were shunned by the community for the longest time. By the time that they got their first full night of rest in their homes again, nightmares and a dependency of drugs and alcohol took them over. That soon then evolved into poor responsiveness and even suicide for some.
