πMessage From Principal Haugens
Field Day is set to take place tomorrow. Students and staff alike are gearing up for a variety of events, including volleyball, parachute, water duck relays, jump rope, and more. The school grounds will be transformed into a vibrant arena of excitement and teamwork, fostering school spirit and camaraderie. Students are encouraged to bring sunscreen, comfortable clothing, tennis shoes, water bottle, snack, towel, healthy lunch (you'll be working hard all day) and a positive attitude. With weather forecasts predicting 78 degree weather and partly cloudy skies, it looks to be the perfect day for students to have LOTS OF FUN and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
We would like to inform you that your child's MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) reports will be sent home tomorrow. These reports provide valuable insights into your child's academic progress in key areas such as mathematics, reading, and language usage. They offer a comprehensive view of their strengths and areas for growth. We encourage you to review these reports carefully and discuss them with your child. Should you have any questions or require further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact your child's teacher. Thank you for your continued support in fostering your child's educational development.
Final grades for this school year will be posted in OTUS on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. We encourage you to review these grades together with your child to celebrate their achievements and identify areas for future growth. A PDF of the report card will be emailed to parents after June 5, 2024. Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership in your child's education.
Next week marks the final stretch of the 2023-2024 school year. Kindergarten's last day of school will be Tuesday, June 4, 2024. Students in first - fifth grade will end school with a 1:40 pm dismissal on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. The last week will be a time to celebrate accomplishments, acknowledge challenges overcome, and look forward to the well-deserved break ahead. Let's make the most of this last week, cherishing the memories and experiences that have shaped us throughout the year.
