11/26/2024 November Thanksgiving School Edition
Happy November EMS families,
The glorious Fall is coming to an end, as it seems that the "S" word is in our forecast. Remember to bundle up as we have many students that will walk across the parking lot for classes. Mr. Apger does a great job of keeping our sidewalks safe, and snow-free, but it can be chilly. Please dress appropriately. We are also getting closer to Winter Holiday Break. Once again, we are holding our "12 days of Christmas" Spirit Dress-up days. The total list is linked here. Have fun, Dress-up, Show your Spirit, and earn Pep points. 12 Days of Christmas (EMS) edition 2024
Also, I want to wish a good luck to our Musical performers. If you get a chance, stop out and see the tremendous growth and seasonal spirit they bring to the Holidays.

Winter is here, and so are Winter Sports. Please look at the calendars below. We also have the large and small winter season schedule posters to keep up with all of the Eastwood Eagle Athletics. Stop in the office and grab one.
Finally, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone,
I realize that I say this every year, but I am truly THANKFUL for the students, families, and the community that I get to be a part of every day. I am so grateful to be a small part of this incredible staff. They motivate me to come here every day and be "all-in" for kids. EMS is a great place! There is no perfect middle school, but I would say that we are perfectly, imperfect. Thank you to everyone, and please enjoy your loved ones this Holiday Season.
I hope you had a wonderful, safe, and Happy Thanksgiving.

Counselor's Corner
Counselor's Corner
The Eastwood Middle School "Friends of Rachelle" Club, to follow up on our Rachelle's Challenge presentation, are learning to crochet. They are hoping to donate a mini crocheted octopi to the Toledo NIC Unit. The F.O.R. group got together and learned to crochet, and will hopefully bring a smile to a family who's baby may be in medical distress. It is one of many ways that the EMS F.O.R. Club is trying to spread kindness to our community. The video to learn crocheting is attached here. Click on the picture.
